backup2l software package provides low-maintenance backup/restore tool, you can install in your Debian 8 (Jessie) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install backup2l
backup2l is installed in your system.
Make ensure the backup2l package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep backup2l *
You will get with backup2l package name, version, architecture and description in a table
